One of our ministry's priorities is to help equip parents to raise their teenagers. On this page you can find more detailed information about our policies. SafetyFor an organization whose job it is to kick down doors and blow things up, the Army is very concerned with safety. Our Youth Pastor's military background has taught him a lot about considering risk. Risk is unnecessary in Student Ministry. There is nothing so fun or crazy that it is worth the possibility of harm. And although there is risk involved in everything we do throughout the day, from sitting in a chair to driving a car, it is a priority of our ministry to choose activities that maximize fun and minimize risk. Each student's safety is guarded through policies like these: - Criminal background checks are run on all of our staff and volunteers.
- Students are never out of sight with a youth worker of the opposite sex.
- All events have a sufficient staff-to-student ratio.
- Seatbelts are worn at all times in vehicles.
